Outside the office, Avery enjoys an active lifestyle. He can often be found hunting, fishing, or on the golf course. Additionally, he loves bowling and snowboarding, embracing the thrill of adventure both on and off the slopes.

I'm Betsy, your go-to Event Coordinator at The Kid’s Place. With a passion for creating memorable experiences, I bring a touch of creativity and meticulous planning to ensure that every event at/for our dental office is not only successful but leaves a lasting impression. Our dental office is not just a place for appointments; it's a hub for community connection. Through collaborations with local organizations and participation in community fairs, we foster relationships that extend beyond the dental chair. Building a strong community presence is at the heart of what we do.
When I’m not connecting with Boerne’s Parks & Rec or the Greater Chamber of Boerne - gearing up for an event - you can find me creating graphics/reels for our social media presence. I find joy in crafting eye-catching Instagram reels and engaging Facebook posts for both existing and potential patients. We love incorporating the whole family with our in-office contests, teaser announcements, and local event flyers! When you see me sitting in Dr. Wilkerson’s office on Mondays, working on our next project, feel free to say hi or give me a wave! I love seeing all your bright smiles!
Outside of the office, you will most likely find me with children in tow – some being my own and others being my students. Other than Mondays, when I get to be amongst our young patients, I’m a Pre-K 2 teacher and a fulltime mom. I’m a dedicated teacher at St. Helena’s Episcopal School, with a passion for nurturing young minds and fostering love for learning in the early years. There, every day is an adventure!
However, my biggest joy comes from being a mom of three. Over the last 16 years, I've discovered my own set of supermom powers. Patience and a good sense of humor are my secret weapons. Our home is filled with laughter, love, and a touch of organized chaos. We believe in creating memories that last a lifetime – from weekend adventures to cozy movie nights. His father, Dr. Michael Wilkerson, serves as both his inspiration and the founder of The Kid’s Place while his mother's role as a hygienist has imparted valuable insights into preventive care and patient education.
Creighton's academic journey led him to Texas Christian University (TCU), where he pursued his passion. At TCU, he not only gained a solid educational foundation but also had the opportunity to develop his clinical skills through hands-on experiences. His commitment to continuous learning keeps him up-to-date with the latest advancements in dental care, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality treatment and guidance.

Jon's journey into dental care began at Concord Career College, where he received comprehensive training and education in dental assisting. Armed with the latest knowledge and hands-on experience, he entered the workforce ready to make a difference.
As a dental assistant, Jon's responsibilities extend beyond the clinical aspects of patient care. I am Lacy Wilkerson, a seasoned pediatric dental hygienist with a passion for nurturing healthy smiles in children. With over two decades of experience in the field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a gentle touch to every young patient I serve.
Beyond my professional life, I am a proud wife and a mother of three wonderful boys. Our family is completed by the love and antics of our cherished dog. Balancing a fulfilling career and family life has been a gratifying journey, and it has given me a unique perspective on the dental needs of children and the importance of early oral hygiene education.
My passion for pediatric dentistry began when I graduated from hygiene school in 1997. Since then, I've been committed to providing top-notch dental care tailored specifically to children's needs. My goal is to make every dental visit a positive and educational experience for young patients.
